Admittedly, I don't have the best of memories. I must have read and been read to lots as a child, but I couldn't reel you off many classic titles bar a few goodies such as Each, Peach, Pear, Plum and Princess and the Pea. Poetry books however, that was an entirely different story...I just loved them! One in particular was Song from the City by Gareth Owen. It's probably at this point my parents should have become aware of my slightly obsessive personality, I would read, recite, read, recite, over and over and over and over again. I can to this day spark off a fair few (I'll be subjecting those in the studio to these shortly). Sadly this specific book is now out of print (thank you, Ebay) but below had to have been one of my very favourites.
